Quantity Surveying Manager (15+ years)

Overview

About the role

Lead our quantity surveying function and own cost control across the project portfolio.

Location: Nigeria, with project/site assignments.

Employment type: Full Time.
Closing date: 15 November 2026.

Hands-on experience required

  • Active, hands-on QS practitioner who does the work directly, not only supervises it. Purely review or oversight profiles are not considered.
  • Able to personally measure, build and audit a valuation, accrual schedule and cost-to-complete forecast from source documents.
  • Able to rebuild any number your team presents and trace it back to measurements, contracts and certificates.
  • Gets into the detail on site and in the cost reports, not only the summary.

Selection process

Your CV should show the hands-on work you have personally carried out. Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical assessment before interview and explain and defend their calculations in a live discussion. Managers will also be asked to rebuild one figure in front of the panel.

The practical assessment for this role will cover a valuation and accrual scenario.
